Earth Hour

Ahhh, great, today there will again be an 'Earth Hour' - around the globe environment activists will switch off the light for one hour to save the planet, sit self-satisfied in the dark and feel happy because they are the good ones. What a brilliant idea. I'm sure this will make a difference.

Well, if it would be so damn easy to safe the planet, why will they limit their planet-saving to only 60 minutes and switch on the light afterwards again? Why won't they choose to sit in the dark for the rest of their self-righteous lifes - let's say live without electricity for the next 60 years??

The second when the light will be switched on after one hour of darkness demonstrates how pointless and stupid this whole activity is: "WTF, it's too damn dark, 60 minutes of planet-saving is enough, who gives a fuck about the planet - let there be LIGHT!!"

Yep, dear inconsequent environmental activists, you apparently really thought this through, didn't you?
