A wasted week

One unthougtful moment some weeks ago, probably when not yet fully awake, I got a phone call and agreed to travel to a certain university and examine students. Bad idea. Last week I had to sit in a small room with a blackboard, a table and a few old and unsecure wooden chairs. This room was permeated by an endless flux of physics students. I had to ask them about thermodynamics, classical mechanics and electrodynamics. pV=nRT. div B=0. F=-kx. Harmonic oscillations. The whole procedure turned out to be quite painful sometimes and more than a few of the examinees were surprised that I usually gave them high marks anyway.
