Austrian Academy of Sciences

The PANDA meeting I'm attending takes place at the Festsaal der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften. Built in 1755 this is the original building of the University of Vienna. In 1808 exactly here the debut performance of Joseph Haydn's (1732-1809) oratorio 'Die Schöpfung' (The Creation) took place.
