Blood Eagle

I'm just reading 'Blood Eagle' by Craig Russell, an american-style serial killer novel about a series of ritual murders -- located right here in Hamburg! This is quite a strange but nevertheless gripping mixture of local colour (with meticulous descriptions of streets, shops, restaurants, etc.) and a plot which seems to be somehow absurdly misplaced.
